Influencer marketing for gaming and tech brands

Updated October 2026

A gaming or tech brand runs influencer campaigns with creators whose viewers already play that kind of game or use that kind of product.

Which creators fit a game or a tech product?

The ones whose audience plays what you make or uses what you sell: the games they watch, the country they live in and the language they speak. Each channel's audience data shows this before any contact.

A creator who already plays your genre or talks about your kind of hardware gives the product a natural place in the video.

Which gaming communities do our campaigns run in?

Flight simulation
Microsoft Flight Simulator and DCS World.
Space simulation
Star Citizen and Elite Dangerous.
Racing simulation
Assetto Corsa and iRacing.
Driving and vehicle combat
Euro Truck Simulator 2 and War Thunder.

We also run campaigns in strategy and PC gaming, and for consumer technology brands that reach the same players.

Which formats work for a game or a tech product?

Ad inside the video
A segment of 60 to 90 seconds in one of the creator's videos, showing the game or the product in use, in their own words.
Dedicated video
A whole video about the product, for a launch, a game update or hardware that takes time to show.
Short video
A vertical video on TikTok, Instagram Reels or YouTube Shorts that shows one moment or one feature quickly.
Live stream
The creator plays the game or uses the product live on Twitch, with viewers watching in real time.

How much does gaming influencer marketing cost?

US$15 to 30per thousand views, gaming and simulation

US$25 to 45per thousand views, tech and hardware

Creators price a sponsored video by the views it is expected to get. The figures above are for a segment inside a YouTube video, on the international market, in US dollars.

In our experience, gaming channels averaging under 5,000 views a video charge US$20 to 25 per thousand views. A sponsored Twitch stream is priced per thousand hours watched, at US$80 to 200.

You can start with a test campaign: a few creators, the same process at a smaller size, and the results show where to put the next budget. Campaign management by Ikanda is shown separately in the proposal.

How do you track sales from gaming creators?

A link for each creator
A tracked link, an affiliate link or a store link counts the people who click from the video or the stream.
A code with their name
A promo code counts the people who watch, remember and buy later, often on another device.

How long until the first videos go live?

2 to 4 weeksfrom the start of the campaign

That time covers choosing the creators, the agreements, the brief and the production. With larger creators the negotiation can take a little longer.

How Ikanda runs a gaming or tech campaign

  1. Creators chosen by audience

Creators whose audience plays and buys what you make, in any country and language.

  2. Contact and agreements

We handle the first contact, the negotiation and the agreements.

  3. The product in the content

Each video is shaped with the creator so the product sits naturally in it.

  4. A link and a code each

Set up for every creator before the first video goes live.

  5. The numbers decide

After launch, the results decide who comes back in the next round.
