A SaaS or software brand runs influencer campaigns with creators whose audience has the problem the software solves.

Does influencer marketing work for SaaS?
It works when the creator's audience is the people who would use the software: the work they do, the tools they already use, the country they live in and the language they speak. Each channel's audience data shows this before any contact.
Which creators fit a software product?
- Creators who teach the work
- Channels that show, step by step, how to do the job your software helps with.
- Creators who review tools
- Channels that test and compare the apps and tools their viewers choose from.
- Creators who use it every day
- People whose own work runs on tools like yours, and who show how they work.
Which formats show software at work?
- Ad inside the video
- A segment of 60 to 90 seconds in one of the creator's videos, showing one task done with the software, in their own words.
- Dedicated video
- A whole video about the software, such as a tutorial, a walkthrough or a review, for a launch or a tool that takes time to show.
- Short video
- A vertical video on TikTok, Instagram Reels or YouTube Shorts that shows one feature quickly.
- Live stream
- The creator uses the software live and answers the viewers' questions as they watch it work.
How do you track trials and signups from influencers?
Give each creator a link with UTM tags, or an affiliate link, that leads to your signup page, and a promo code with their name.
The link counts the people who click from the video. The code counts the people who come back later and use it when they sign up or subscribe.
How much does SaaS influencer marketing cost?
US$40 to 80per thousand views, an ad inside a video
US$56 to 112per thousand views, a dedicated video
Creators price a sponsored video by the views it is expected to get. The figures above are for software and SaaS channels on YouTube, on the international market, in US dollars.
You can start with a test campaign: a few creators, the same process at a smaller size, and the results show where to put the next budget.
Campaign management by Ikanda is shown separately in the proposal.
How long until the first videos go live?
2 to 4 weeksfrom the start of the campaign
That time covers choosing the creators, the agreements, the brief and the production. With larger creators the negotiation can take a little longer.
